

Sula Williams Spencer, 99, died Monday, August 2, 2010, at her home in Booneville. She was born November 27, 1910, to John Walker and Della McClain Williams. She was a member of Marietta Church of Christ. She was retired from Blue Bell after 26 years and Prentiss Manufacturing. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, and gardening.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, August 5, 2010, at the McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Ronnie Livingston and Bro. Dean Lawrence officiating. Burial will be in Booneville Cemetery.
She is survived by her son, W.D. Spencer of Florence, AL; three granddaughters, Deborah S. Haynes of Booneville, Melba S. Crabb of Booneville, and Becky S.(Bruce) Pickle of Florence, AL; four great-grandchildren, Trey Slaton, Megan Haynes, Matthew Haynes, and Logan Pickle; one great-great grandchild, Chase Sisk; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bro. R.C. Spencer; her parents; her daughter-in-law, Fay Lauderdale Spencer; six sisters, Nona Warren, Ora Warren, Alma Pounds, Ara VanBibber, Bernice Richardson and Eula Taylor; and two brothers, Alton Williams and (infant) Andrew Williams.
Pallbearers are Jim Taylor, Jerry Taylor, Larry Taylor, Hoyle Pounds, Trey Slaton, and Matthew Haynes.
