William Eddie Alexander

William Eddie Alexander, 76, of Guntown passed away on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at the Baptist Memorial-Union County Hospital in New Albany. He loved spending time with friends and family, playing the piano, fishing, and racing, especially during his time as owner and operator of the Pine Ridge Speedway in Guntown, MS.

A Celebration of Life service will be at McMillan Funeral Home at 12:00 P.M. on Friday, October 17, 2025 with Dr. Brian Alexander officiating. Burial will be in the Jumpertown Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until service time on Friday, October 17, 2025 at the funeral home.

He is survived by his son, Dr. Brian Alexander; his daughter, Denise Owen; his grandchildren, Kinsley Alexander, Colson Alexander, Noah Alexander, Cole Owen (Mallory), and Allie Robinson (Brandon); his great-grandchildren, John Bradley Owen and Baby Robinson on the way.

He is preceded in death by his parents, William Alvis Alexander and Virginia Francis Alexander; and his son-in-law, John Robert Owen.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Robbins, Rex Myhand, Johnny Pannell, James Fortner and Jerry Davis.
