William Gaston Green

William Gaston Green, 92, of Booneville, passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at Baptist Memorial Hospital Booneville. He was born October 13, 1922 to William Austin and Lucy Bell Taylor Green. He was a retired farmer and a member of Hills Chapel Church of Christ. Mr. Green was a US Army Veteran of WW II.

Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Friday, January 30, 2015 at McMillan Funeral Home with Minister Don Green officiating. Burial will be in the New Hope Cemetery.

He is survived by one daughter, Norine Yearber of Booneville; one son, Henry (Alice) Green of the Hills Chapel Community; six grandchildren, Bill (Melissa) Green of Athens, AL, Bradley (Amber) Green of Hills Chapel, Garland (Jennifer) Green of Huntsville, AL, Vicki (Monty) Trexler of Mantachie, Steve Yearber of Tupelo, and Sterling (Angie) Yearber of Decatur, AL; and eleven great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Edith Green; his parents; three brothers, Truman, Orville, and an infant brother Aaron Green.

Visitation will be 5-8 pm Thursday, January 29. 2015 and until service time on Friday at the funeral home.
