William Dwight Sparks

William Dwight Sparks, 74, passed away Wednesday, February 4, 2015, at home. He was born September 25, 1940 to Will Cunningham and Glada Mae Johnson Sparks. He was a retired furniture upholstery engineer and a member of Siloam United Methodist Church. He enjoyed singing for Jesus and serving God.

Services will be at 2:00 pm Saturday, February 7, 2015 at Siloam United Methodist Church with Bro. David English, Bro. Jimmy Glover, and Bro. Charles McGill officiating. Burial will be in the Siloam Cemetery. McMillan Funeral Home has charge of the arrangments.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Cheryl Stacy Sparks; three daughters, Sherry (Gary) Gann of Marietta, Sandra Sparks of Corinth, and Stacey (Jackie) Lindsey of New Albany; one son, Billy (Melodi) Sparks of Marietta; one sister, Janet Sparks of Marietta; seven grandchildren, Chad Sparks, Tiffany Taylor, Stephanie Dillard, Catherine Sparks, Matthew Lindsey, McKinley Lindsey, and Kaitlyn Sparks; and six great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Paul Wade Sparks.

Visitation will be 4-9 pm on Friday, February 6, 2015 and until service time on Saturday at Siloam United Methodist Church.
