Patricia Louise Karriker

Patricia Louise Karriker, age 88, of Boonville, Missouri, passed away on February 26, 2022. Funeral services will be held on March 6, 2022 at Bible Baptist Church, 4001 Hwy 5 in New Franklin. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., with a service to follow. Pastor Tim Miller will officiate. A private burial service will take place at the family plot in Postville, Iowa.

Patricia was born in Waukon, Iowa on April 28, 1933 to Harold Alonzo and Claire (Cooney) Brewer. She attended school in Postville, Iowa but finished high school and graduated from Our Lady of Victory Academy in Waterloo, Iowa. She married Grant Karriker in October of 1980.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Grant; her parents; siblings: Lavern (Helen) Brewer, Mildred (Harold) Trappe, Raymond Brewer, Rose (Keith) Smith; nephew Bruce Smith; niece Connie Smith Gelo; and a great nephew, Rhetto Gelo. She is survived by a number of nieces and nephews: Mary Kay (Bill) Frankenhoff, Linda (Tom) Walkoczy, Pauline Brewer, Carl (Ellen) Brewer, Tom (Claire) Brewer, Phil (Joyce) Smith, Virginia (Rob) Moore, Michelle Snyder; many great nieces and nephews and her dear friends Joanna Hughes and Cheryl Giddis, who cared for her at the end of her life.

Patricia liked to play the guitar, read scriptures, meet people and attend church. She liked to watch sports, especially hockey and skating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bible Baptist Church of New Franklin, Missouri.
