Bella Mae Belanger

Bella Mae Belanger passed away peacefully in her parents arms at Children's Hospital on May 28th, she was 27 days old. She is survived by her parents Ryan and Rachel (Silva) Belanger, her grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, great grandparents, great aunts, great uncles, second cousins and all her friends. Bella was born seemingly healthy, but just before leaving the hospital they admitted her to the NICU at Brigham and Women's Hospital where she remained for the next 16 days. She endured countless procedures and finally got the strength to be discharged. After 4 great days home with her parents on Commonwealth Avenue, she was rushed to Children's Hospital where she passed days later. In those 4 days at home Bella watched a Celtics game, walked Newbury St. with Mom, took a road trip to meet her cousins and had brunch with friends. Bella likely passed from an extremely rare metabolic disorder but remains undiagnosed as her exceptional doctors continue to search for answers. She is grateful for the world class care she received in those hospitals. A service will be held at a later date and those details will be posted on this website
