
LAW-Chik Ching, 52, of Newton, passed away surrounded by her family on September 19, 2011. Beloved daughter of Kam So Lee and the late Kwan Law. She was the loving sister of Chik Fong Lee and husband Gock Yee Lee, Chat Chun Lau and husband Yim Jack Lau. Chik Ching is also survived by three nephews, Alvin Lee and wife Linda Baer and their daughter Sophia Lee, Victor Lee and Eddie Lau, her two nieces, Adah Lau and Anita Lau. Chik Ching was a guidance counselor in the Quincy Public School system for 25 years, she was also one of the founders of ACCESS in Chinatown, Boston and the lifelong member of the Boston Chinese Evangelical Church in Boston and Newton. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Friday, Sept. 23, from 6 – 9 PM at Waterman’s Funeral Home, 580 Commercial St., Boston, MA 02109. Parking attendants will be present. Funeral Service on Saturday, Sept. 24, at 10AM at Boston Chinese Evangelical Church-Newton Campus, 218 Walnut St., Newton, MA 02460 before leaving in procession and then cremation at Newton Cemetery, Newton.
