Elda Federico of Boston’s North End passed away at 91 years old after a full, wonderful life on September 13th, 2022. Loving daughter of the late Carmine and Filomena (Volpe) Bruno. Beloved wife of the late Americo Federico. Loving mother of Julie Federico of Walpole and Carmen Federico and his wife Linda of Quincy. Cherished grandmother of Gianna, Diandra, Francesca and Fabia; great-grandmother of Juliana, Brianna, Matthew and Cecelia. Dear sister of the late Giovannina Crugnale and her husband Aldo, and Ralph Bruno and his wife Luisa. Sister-in-law to Drusiana DiMascio and her husband Guerino. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. She was often known as one of the friendly faces at Boschetto’s Bakery for many years. Her kindness and small gestures meant so much to so many. Elda’s long life was built on family and faith.
The family will receive visitors on Monday, September 19th in the J.S. Waterman Langone Chapel, 580 Commercial Street, Boston from 4pm to 8pm. COMPLIMENTARY VALET PARKING ATTENDANTS AT FRONT DOOR. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Leonard Church in the North End on Tuesday, September 20th at 10am with a 9am to 945am visitation at St. Leonard Church before the Mass.
Services will conclude with entombment in St. Michael Cemetery Mausoleum, Roslindale.
