Jean Marino

Jean Marino of Boston’s North End, passed away on January 8, 2024. Beloved daughter of the late Charles and Marianina (La Leggia) who immigrated from Sicily. Jean was a graduate from the Chandler School for Women and worked for 54 years for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in the Department of Transitional Assistance. Loving sister of the late Charles Marino Jr. Dear aunt of Charles Marino, III of Centreville, Alexandra Hadden and husband Lee of Bloomfield, CT and Christopher Marino of Whitman. Also survived by her cousin, Marie Elaina Anderson and her family of Saugus, her dear friend, Steve Donovan of Provincetown as well as many cousins and friends. The family will receive visitors on Monday, January 15, 2024 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm in the J.S. Waterman-Langone Chapel, 580 Commercial St., Boston. COMPLIMENTARY VALET PARKING ATTENDANTS AT FRONT DOOR. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at 10am in St. Stephen Church, 401 Hanover St., North End. Services will conclude with interment in St. Michael Cemetery, Boston.
