Joan E. (Davidson) Christenson of Boston and formerly of Newton Centre on December 24, 2013. Beloved wife of the late Rev. Robert H. Christenson. Loving mother of Mark A. and his wife Nancy of Norwood, Stephen S. and his wife Martha of Danvers, and Todd A. and his wife Andrea of Salisbury, MD. Treasured grandmother of Ian, Ariel, Danielle, Marlene and Sondra. Mrs. Christenson was a graduate of Bates College and received her Masters from Wheelock. Funeral Service in Old South Church, 645 Boylston St., Boston on Thursday, January 2nd at 11am. Interment will be in Newton Cemetery, Newton.
