John is survived by his brother, Enrico Gambale and his wife Ida of Roslindale; his sister, Helen Maroni of NY; and many loving nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by one sister, Mary Colarusso; and five brothers, Alfonzo, Frank, Ernest, Arthur, and George Gambale.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend funeral services on Thursday, June 14th, 2012 in Saint Leonard’s Church, on the corner of Prince and Hanover St. in Boston’s North End. The family will be receiving visitor beginning at 9:30 am with a funeral mass to follow at 11 am.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his memory to Rosie’s Place, 889 Harrison Ave, Boston, MA 02118.
