

passed away. Lam was born in Kaiping, China. Lam, his wife Fung and their son Jimmy,
immigrated to the United States in 1976. Boston’s Chinatown is where Lam called home for over
40 years. Lam was a cook at some of the local restaurants, eventually working his way up to
Head chef at the Moonvilla restaurant. He was an active member of the Boston Chinese
Masonic Lodge and the secretary of the Boston branch of the Soo Hoo family association. Lam
enjoyed walking around his neighborhood greeting old friends and welcoming new ones. He
loved people and his smile lit up any room he walked into.
Lam is survived by his wife Fung, his son and daughter in law Jimmy and Angela (Soo Hoo), his

Funeral Service will be on Monday, February 8, 2021 from 10am to 12pm in J.S. Waterman-Langone Chapel, 580 Commercial St., Boston, MA 02109 - PARKING ATTENDANTS AT FRONT DOOR
Burial will follow in Forest Hills Cemetery, Boston.
