

She was born and raised in Italy Chiusano Di San Domenico a daughter of the late Michele and Rosa DeAngelis.
She moved from Italy to Boston and married her longtime love, Pasquale DellaPorta was married 60 years who preceded her in death in 2021.
She worked at Cole Hersee Co. where she was a machine operator for many years.
Maria was a very highly devoted member of Sacred Heart Church and St. Leonard Church.
Maria was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured and loved her children and grandchildren and embraced every moment with them.
Maria is the loving & devoted mother of Michael DellaPorta and Fernando DellaPorta of the North End and fiancé Andrea Mariani, sister of Utilua Repucci, Geralda Martignetti, Flora Matarazzo, Michelina DiNapoli, Anna Repucci, Joseph DiAngelis, Nicodemo DeAngelis, Late sister Carmela DeAngelis, Sister in law Caterina Doto of Saugus Gerardo DellaPorta of Saugus and the late Anthony DellaPorta and three treasured grandchildren Julien DellaPorta of New York and Alexia and Maximus DellaPorta of Lynnfield and her many nephews and nieces, Alba Doto, beloved goddaughter Rosalba Marignetti, godson Ermelindo Doto. All of these she loved and touched deeply.
She was one of the most selfless people you ever met. Maria gave and did a lot for many. She held all of us in her heart, she will live in a special place in all of our hearts forever, as an extraordinarily giving loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, godmother and friend. May God Bless Maria.
Funeral services will be Monday, September 18th, 2023 in Sacred Heart Church of Boston,12 N Square, Boston, MA 02113, visiting hours at the church will be from 9am-11am with a mass of Christian burial at 11 am, followed by entombment at Holy Cross Cemetery, 175 Broadway St., Malden. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Leonard Church, 320 Hanover St., Boston, MA 02113. J.S. Waterman-Langone Chapel, 580 Commercial St., Boston, MA 02109 has been entrusted with the arrangements.
