Patricia E. (Baker) O’Donnell, 92, of Boston passed away in her home surrounded by her family on October 15, 2021. She was born in New York City on March 20, 1929, married John J. O’Donnell Jr. in 1952, the love of her life, with whom she raised a loving family until his passing in 1988. She is the beloved mother of Julia Zinke and her late husband Daniel of Coronado, California; Ellen di Bonaventura and her husband Christopher of Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts; John O’Donnell of Boston; and Henry O’Donnell of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Pat was the loving grandmother of 16 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was the sister of Dolores McCarthy, the late Margaret Melley, Kathleen Baker and Henry Baker. Pat was a beloved friend to many, an independent woman, and a fierce advocate for those she loved. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Stephen Church, 401 Hanover St., Boston on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at 10am. Interment will be private.
