Patricia Anne Thiboutot, 84, of Boston, wife of the late Armand J. Thiboutot, Jr., passed away suddenly and peacefully at her home on May 29, Boston, MA. She leaves behind her daughter Anna Thiboutot Welch and husband Matthew Welch of Pownal, Maine, and daughter Michele Thiboutot Morgan and husband Guy Nicholas Morgan of Chatou, France, and her three grandchildren, Sebastian, Gabriella and Sienna Morgan. She was a loving “Aunt Patricia” to many nieces and nephews and their children.
She was a devoted sister to her departed siblings, Frances, Rose Mary, Alice, Frank, John, Salvatore, Louis and Robert.
Patricia was born on March 30, 1941 to Fortunatina (Catanzano) and Pasquale DeSimone, who emigrated to Somerville, Massachusetts from Gaeta, Italy. The family later moved to Lexington, where Patricia grew up.
Patricia was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She settled in Wayland, Massachusetts with her late husband, Armand "Tip" Thiboutot, where their family home became a place for family and friends to congregate and spend many wonderful holidays together. The youngest of nine siblings, family was always very important to Patricia - she loved nothing more than being surrounded by her family. Later on, Patricia and Tip moved to Boston's North End and fully integrated into the close-knit community.
Patricia will be remembered by all for her warmth, her generosity, and her love of family and friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, June 28th from 2 pm to 3 pm, in the J.S. Waterman-Langone Chapel, 580 Commercial Street, Boston, MA. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Patricia's memory to the Christopher Columbus Waterfront Park, P.O. Box 130285, Boston, MA 02113
