Phllip A. Oddo, 78 years of age, of Revere, formerly of Boston’s West End, passed away on Tuesday June 26, 2012. Phillip was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He owned and operated many bars and taverns in the Boston area. In addition, he was a lifelong dedicated member of the West End Camp.
Phillip was predeceased by his parents Rose (Serio) and Benedetto Oddo; his sisters, Marianna “Tootsie” Gentile, Kathryn Maggio; and his brothers, Salvatore, Nicholas “Buddy”, Benedict “Chubby”, and his twin Anthony Oddo, of whom were all proud war veterans. He is survived by many loving nephews, nieces, and cousins.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph Church, 68 William Cardinal O’Connell Way, Boston on Saturday, June 30, 2012 at 10:00AM. Family will be accepting visitors from 4:00PM-8:00PM on Friday at the Boston Harborside Home, 580 Commercial St Boston MA. Burial is private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Phillip’s name to the Tanner TaTa Foundation, 8 Skyview Rd Woburn, MA 01801.
