

ROBIN, Colin J., 87 of Bourne, MA passed away at his home surrounded by his family after a hard-fought battle with cancer on March 28, 2023. He was born to the late Jules J. and Winifred H. (Farrell) Robin in Fall River, MA on June 17, 1935.
Colin grew up in Westport, MA. He was a proud Army veteran who served in Korea. After earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth he worked for companies that designed and built power generation plants. He also owned his own engineering consultant and placement business. He enjoyed traveling with his wife Elaine and racing his sailing boats all named “Bow Wow” in reference to the many family pets. He volunteered for many years at the Bourne Historical Society. Having lived in the Gray Gables neighborhood of Bourne for fifty-five years, Colin was a long-term member of the Gray Gables Association, once serving as the Association president. Colin was always a hard worker and he was willing to help family, friends and neighbors whenever needed.
He is predeceased by his wife Elaine to whom he shared fifty-seven years in marriage. He is survived by his son Kevin Robin and wife Jane of Bourne, MA, his daughters; Kathleen Mandigo and husband George of Norwell, MA, and Karen LeMay and husband Roger of Bourne, MA. His grandchildren; Stephanie Asack and husband Tucker, Emily Lutes and husband Allan, Fawn LeMay, and Cassandra Robin. Great Grandchildren; Charlotte Lutes, Theodore Lutes, and Lucy Asack. His dear friend Maggie Brazell, and many other family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 11:30am at Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 40 MacArthur Blvd. Bourne, MA on Monday April 3rd. Visiting Hours will be prior from 10-11:30am. Burial will be private.
