

David A. Haglof of Sagamore Beach, Massachusetts, went home to be with his Lord suddenly on Saturday afternoon, the 12th of May. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn, his daughter, Lori; sons Phil and Luke; brothers, Richard, Alan, and Ron; son-in-law, Larry; daughters-in-law Lisa and Jennifer; 5 granddaughters and 4 grandsons. He enlisted in the US Coast Guard in 1963 and was stationed in Staten Island, NY until he deployed to Thailand from 1966-1967. After being honorably discharged, he joined the Massachusetts Air National Guard and served at Otis Air National Guard Base in Falmouth, MA. He retired with 34 years of service. He remained active in his retirement continually serving those around him. Dave served on the deacon board of his church and was active in the Monument Beach Sportsman’s Club. He loved his family and friends, his Harley, golfing, and his Gravely tractors. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, May 17, from 4:00 until 8:00 pm at the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 40 MacArthur Blvd, Bourne. A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 18, at 7:00 pm at the New Testament Church, 1120 Long Pond Rd, Plymouth. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Teen Challenge Organization, 1315 Main St, Brockton, MA 02301.
