Harold was the beloved husband of Robin Cole (Paquin) for 38 years. He was born in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1945 to the late Francis C. Cole and Diantha Cole.
He grew up in Harrisville with his siblings Arthur, Frances, and Warren Jr., mother Diantha, and stepfather Warren J, Gaudreau Sr. He attended Burrillville High School in RI. He served in the United States Coast Guard for 24 years, earning many awards, serving 2 tours in Vietnam (second one being voluntary), and retired as a Chief Warrant 4 Naval Engineering Officer.
