Jared Ross Greenleaf, ‘JR’ a beloved son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend, passed away on December 30, 2025 at his home in Sagamore. He was 38 years old. He was born in Boston, MA to Sharyn Prete and the late John Greenleaf on November 18, 1986.
JR grew up on Cape Cod. He lived his life to the fullest loving; animals, sports, cooking, nature, music, his friends, and family.
He is survived by his mother Sharyn and her husband Frank Prete of Bourne, MA, his brothers Seth, and Zachary. His nephew Jaeden, and niece Gianna, his cousins Jessica Holst, Erin Scully, Michael Masone, Ryan Frayar, Jan Marino, and Julie Murphy, Jake and Jenny Greenleaf, his aunt Jeanne, and uncle Robert.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday January 8, 2026 at 2pm, at Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 40 MacArthur Blvd. Bourne, Ma. All are welcome. Following the service, all are welcome to join us at the Brookside Golf Club for a reception from 3:30-5:30pm.
