

Born in Worcester, MA, he was the son of the late George W. and Barbara Ann (Alix) LeGacy.
Jack graduated from Wachusett Regional High School with honors. He also was on the basketball team.
He was a volunteer fire fighter for Sandwich and Paxton Fire Department. He served his country bravely during the Vietnam War as a gunner on medivac helicopters.
Jack had worked for Fred O Earle Oil in Sandwich for many years. He also worked for Heald Machine Company in Worcester for many years and traveled extensively with his job even to China.
Besides his wife, his is survived by two sons, John W. LeGacy, Jr. and Jason Thomas LeGacy both of Worcester, MA; a brother, David LeGacy of Sandwich, MA; two sisters, Marsha Wright of Ocean Bluff, and Lori LeGacy of East Falmouth, MA; several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late George LeGacy and Paul LeGacy.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service on Thursday, December 17, at 11:30 a.m. in the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home 40 MacArthur Blvd., Bourne. Interment at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
