He was a long time summer resident of Pocasset, Mass. He was born in New Bedford, Mass., the son of Peter H. and Josephine (O’Reilly) Foley.He taught and served as Vice Principal at the Englesby Junior High School in Dracut, Mass.; a fulfilling career spanning 30 years. Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth (Betty) Foley; daughter, Jeanne Laurello of Westford, Mass; sons, Peter Foley of Wilbraham, Mass and James Foley of Austin, Texas, sister, Zita Foley, RSM, of Swansea, Mass and brothers Peter Foley of Worthington, Mass and Leo Foley of Las Vegas. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; Michael and Jennifer Laurello, Colin, Abby, Christopher, Megan and Andrew Foley. His sister Bridget Bullard preceded him in death. A Memorial Service and celebration of his life will be held May 21 at 11:00 at St. Barnabas Church, Main Street, Falmouth, Mass. A reception will be held in the parish hall following the service.
