

Judy was born on June 15, 1942 in Teaneck, New Jersey. She was the daughter of John J. Waldron Sr., and Janet (Kennedy) Waldron. Judy has been reunited in heaven with her parents and younger brother, John Waldron Jr.
Judy is survived by her loving husband Richard Conron of Bourne, her sister; Jane Waldron of Walnut Creek, CA, and three stepchildren; Richard Conron Jr., Anne Marie May, and Michelle Ellenwood. She is also survived by six step grandchildren; Sarah Ellenwood, Jacob Ellenwood, Christopher May, Allyson May, Lauren Conron, and Meghan Conron. Judy began her career by attending Merrymount College. After her freshman year, she was accepted into the Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary in Terrytown, NY. She was a member of this religious teaching order for eight years and then decided to leave to pursue a Masters in Teaching degree concentrated on teaching high school chemistry.
Her next step brought her to the town of Needham, MA where she taught high school chemistry for 18 years before retiring.
Retirement sparked relocating to Bourne, MA and the smell of salt air from Cape Cod Bay. In Bourne, she focused on adding value to the town through public service. Living on the Cape gave her the opportunity to serve 7 years on the Bourne Finance Committee, and one three year term as a Bourne Selectman. Her service to the town was recognized in 2020 by receiving a certificate of appreciation from the Board of Selectmen.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday March 16th at 10 am; St. John’s the Evangelist Roman Catholic Parish, 841 Shore Rd. Pocasset, MA. Burial will follow at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, MA.
