Brochu, Loretta Louise of Buzzards Bay passed away suddenly at home on April 28, 2025. She was the beloved wife of Eric Brochu with whom she spent 35 wonderful years together. She was a loving mother to her son Tony Mazzucco and daughter Kasey Lemieux and her husband Zach.
Loretta was born in Boston, MA and grew up in Randolph with her late parents Louis and Maria Spero. She was a 1976 graduate of Randolph High School and attended Chamberlayne Jr. College and spent the happiest years of her career as a librarian at the Jonathan Bourne Public Library.
She is also survived by her mother and father-in-law Anita and Dick Price of Naples, Florida. Her brother-in-law Doug Brochu and his wife Lesa of Buzzards Bay. She is additionally survived by many family members including beloved nieces, nephews, and many cousins. She is predeceased by her parents Louis and Maria and her sister Patricia Macy.
Visiting hours will be held Saturday May 3rd from 2-5pm at Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 40 MacArthur Blvd. Bourne, MA with a service to follow at 5pm. Burial will be private.
