Mary Frances Brennan "Fran" Tonini

Fran, the loving daughter of the late Paul Brennan and Mary Brennan was born May 11th 1942 in Belleville, New Jersey. Fran graduated from Newton High School Newton, NJ in 1960. In 1963 she graduated with her Bachelors in Fashion marketing from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. From there she went on to work for Stern’s department store in NYC. It was there that she met her husband of 46 years Frank C. Tonini Jr. Their courtship was spent along the beautiful beaches of Montauck, Long Island. They were married April 4th 1970.

Shortly after in 1972 they moved to Massachusetts. There they raised four children and for many years opened their home to care for children in Foster Care. Fran later went on to own and operate the “Cape Cod Caboose” in the Cape Cod Factory Outlet Mall in Sagamore for 25 years. A fixture there, she enjoyed her work because of the love she had for interacting with people. Fran had a personality that drew people in. To know her was to unconditionally love her. She had an open, loving heart and a wonderful sense of humor. Her goal was to always bring a smile to people’s faces. Even through the most difficult times she was able to see the positive and make you laugh.

Fran's greatest love was her family. She was the beloved wife of Frank C Tonini Jr. She was a loving mother and leaves behind her daughter Kathleen M Tonini and Ken McAllister of Taunton, MA. Her son Frank C Tonini III and his wife Michelle Tonini of Sarasota, Florida. Her daughter Amy L Bradford and her husband Paul Bradford of Sandwich, MA, and Kelly A Tonini and her fiancé Brian Agbay of Plymouth, MA. She was also the proud grandmother of Michael Smith, Desiree Bradford, Travis Tonini, Logan Tonini, Quinn Tonini and Ashton Bradford. She is survived by her brother Tony Brennan of Tom’s River New Jersey, his wife Bonnie Brennan and their two children Mark and Sarah Brennan.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Service on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at 6:30 p.m. at the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home 40 MacArthur Blvd. Bourne, MA.
