Sagamore Beach - Norma J. Mannion passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2013. She was 97 years old. Norma was born on July 28, 1915 in Rockland, MA. to Joseph N. and Kathryn (Keane)DeLory. She graduated Rockland High School and Bridgewater State University and became a Teacher. Mrs. Mannion married the late Richard T. Mannion in 1938. They were married for over 60 years and moved to Sagamore Beach in 1966. Norma is survived by her three daughters; Noel Rockwood, Beth Bissonnette, and Lea Mannion Cassis, five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her two sons; Richard T. Mannion, Jr., and John N. Mannion. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2013 from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM at the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 40 MacArthur Blvd, Bourne, MA. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, May 20, 2013 at 10:00 AM at St. John the Evangelist Church, 841 Shore Rd, Pocasset, MA. Burial will follow at St. Peters Cemetery in Sandwich, MA. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Bourne Manor, 146 MacArthur Blvd, Bourne, MA 02532.
