

Born and raised in Randolph, Bob was a 1963 graduate of Randolph High School. After high school, Bob enlisted in the Army to serve 2 tours of duty in Vietnam. Bob was very proud to have finished his tours of duty with the 101st Paratroopers. He earned several military honors including the bronze star. Upon his return Bob became the personal bodyguard of “Marvelous Marvin Hagler”.
Later in life Bob became an advocate for veterans, and independently produced and hosted “Veterans Issues & Answers” a Brockton cable access show in the early 90’s. Shortly after, Bob met the love of his life, Suzy or “Mrs. Honeybun” as he would call her. They spent most of their 25 years together in Brockton before moving to Bourne.
Beside his loving wife Suzy, Bob leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his 2 sisters and 3 brothers. He will be missed by all who knew him, and will leave an unforgettable legacy.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, January 18, 2018 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 40 MacArthur Blvd, Bourne. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 19, 2018 at 10:00am at Saint Margaret’s Catholic Church, Main St Buzzards Bay. A gathering to celebrate Bob will immediately follow at Lindsey’s Restaurant, 3138 Cranberry Hwy, East Wareham. Please send flowers.
