

A graduate of St. Thomas Aguinas High School in Jamaica Plain, MA, he later attended and graduated from Burdett College and Suffolk and Northeastern Universities with a concentration in accounting.
He enlisted and served briefly in the U.S. Marine Corp. After honorably leaving the Marines, he pursued a career as an Agent for the Internal Revenue Service where he spent most of his career.
A fan of all things sports, he particularly loved his New England teams and sharing his passion with those around him. He could often be seen around town at the local Dunkin Donuts or Pizza by Evans, connecting with friends.
He is preceded in death by his father; Joseph Sullivan and mother: Adeline (Thompson) Sullivan.
He leaves behind his wife Mary (Sterling) Sullivan, son Bryan, daughter Kristen, son Kevin and his wife Jessica, granddaughter Nora and several cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Toys for Tots, St. Jude or a charity of one’s choice.
Visitation will be held 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home 40 MacArthur Blvd., Bourne, MA. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at St. John the Evangelist Parish 841 Shore Road Pocasset, MA.
