

Ruth was born the eldest of four children on February 5th, 1919, to Clarence and Catherine Taylor of Milton.
She was married 73 years to Lawrence Brennan, who passed away on May 2nd, 2017.
After her cancer surgery Ruth and Larry traveled extensively to many islands. Ruth loved telling stories of their exciting adventures.
Ruth is predeceased by her daughter Carolyn and two brothers Paul and Bud Taylor. She is survived by her daughter Laureen of Huntington Beach, CA; her grandsons Christopher Healy and his wife Colleen of Huntington Beach, Craig Healey and his partner Cindy of Greenwood, Indiana, Jason Mosteci and his wife Megan of Linwood, NJ and her great-grandchildren Olivia, Morgan, Matthew, Riley Carter, and Owen.
She is also survived by her beloved nieces and nephew.
Ruth worked for many years at Milton Hospital in the business office.
She had a wide range of interests including theater, bowling, golf arts and crafts, and especially the Aptucxet Garden Club as a member for over 30 years. Ruth was admired for her courage, optimism and and sense of style.
Ruth's family wishes to thank the staff at the Old Blue building at Falmouth Hospital for their care and compassion.
Visitation will take place on Monday, June 12th, at the Nickerson Bourne Funeral Home, 40 MacArthur Boulevard, Bourne, from 9 to 10 a.m. A Mass at St. John the Evangelist will follow at 11 a.m. After the Mass a collation will be held in the Parish Hall. Burial will follow in the National Cemetery at 2:15pm.
