Ruth Bryant (Blanchard), 89, of Pocasset, Massachusetts, passed away on April 23, 2026, with her loving husband, Richard, her son Richard Jr., her daughter-in-law Cathy and her grandson Richard III by her side. Born in Beverly, Massachusetts, on May 14, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Wilbur F. Blanchard and Gladys Blanchard (Mullaney).
Ruth graduated from Randolph high school and later worked at Raytheon. After her marriage, she lived in Brockton, West Bridgewater and Pocasset, MA. In all she did, she carried herself with a quiet grace—remembered as deeply beloved, compassionate in spirit, and gentle in manner, with a kind-hearted steadiness that touched those who knew her. She and Richard shared 65 years of marriage, a life shaped by devotion and enduring care.
Ruth is survived by her husband, Richard; her son, Richard L. Bryant, Jr. and his wife; and her grandson, Richard L. Bryant III.
She was predeceased by her parents; her brother, Wilbur Blanchard; and her sisters, Joan Lallis and Barbara Quimby.
