Ruth Naomi McNeill

Born in Hatchville, MA she was the daughter of the late Richard E. and Adaline Lois (Crosby) Geggatt.

She had worked as an executive housekeeper for various Cape and Plymouth Hotels. She had also worked as a home health aide and as a typesetter for the Falmouth Enterprise. She loved gardening, knitting, drawing, and loved the nights she spent dancing in Falmouth. She was an excellent seamstress. Feeding her many animals was her greatest passion.

She is survived by her children, Danny McNeill and his wife Linda of Santa Rosa, CA, John McNeill and his wife Melody of Plymouth, MA, Darlene Taylor and her husband Peter of Plymouth, MA, Patricia Verre of Deltona Florida and Dale Biagiotti and her husband Joe of New Port Richey, Florida; siblings, Phil Geggatt of Danvers, MA and Sterling Geggatt of Falmouth, MA, Dorothy Geggatt and Sandra Lee Tavares both of Falmouth, MA; she has 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her brothers Richard Geggatt, Jr., Robert Geggatt, Sr., Louis Geggatt; her sisters Barbara Geggatt and Bertha Beckwith.

A visitation will be held 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home 40 MacArthur Blvd., Bourne. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in her memory to Humane Society.
