Scott Keith Kempton

Born on March 30, 1957, in Framingham, Massachusetts, Scott was the son of the late Robert and Jeanne (Thayer) Kempton. He was known for his humorous and hard-working nature, which touched the lives of many.

Scott dedicated many years of his life to his craft as a carpenter, where his skills and dedication were highly regarded. Outside of his professional life, he had a passion for riding his motorcycle, a hobby that brought him great joy.

Scott's memory will be cherished by all who knew him.

Besides his loving wife Karel, he’s survived by a daughter Jessica Besterfield, a sister, Barbara Laferrer, a brother, Douglas Kempton, a nephew and many cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home 40 MacArthur Blvd., Bourne. A Celebration of his Life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 21, 2025, at Covenant Community Church 360 Quaker Meetinghouse Road East Sandwich, MA. Burial at South Monument Cemetery, Bourne.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in his memory can be made to a charity of one’s choice.
