

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Terrance Bustard, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Terrance departed this world peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family, on April 15, 2026, at the age of 67.
Born on April 5, 1959, in North Adams, Massachusetts, Terrance was the cherished son of the late Lois (Grogan) Bustard and Robert Bustard. He is predeceased by his parents but leaves behind a legacy that will continue to live on through his loved ones.
Terrance’s life was a testament to service, dedication, and love. He proudly served in the Army National Guard from 1984 until his retirement in 2010. His distinguished military career saw him bravely serving in the Gulf War as part of Operation Desert Storm, where he was awarded the Bronze Star for his heroism and commitment . In 2003, he once again answered the call of duty during Operation Iraqi Freedom in Iraq. Terrance’s courage and dedication to his country were defining aspects of his life, inspiring those who knew him.
Following his service, Terrance retired to the serene community of Pocasset, Massachusetts, where he built a life filled with love and adventure alongside his devoted wife, Cynthia. Their bond was a testament to enduring love, and together they shared countless memories, whether exploring the great outdoors or enjoying the simple pleasures of life. Terrance’s passions included hockey, fishing, boating, and camping, activities that brought him immense joy, especially when shared with his family.
Terrance’s life was a tapestry woven with strength, thoughtfulness, and unwavering dedication to his family. He was a pillar of support to his children, Terrance, Angela, Justin, and Jesse, and a devoted grandfather to Logan. His siblings, Tracy, Rob, Brian, and Todd, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and grandchildren, will forever hold him in their hearts.
He will be remembered for his friendships, his selflessness, and his ability to bring laughter to those around him. Terrance touched the lives of many, and his legacy of service and love will continue to inspire generations to come.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Terrance’s memory to a veteran’s charity of your choice, honoring his commitment to his fellow servicemen and women.
A wake will be held for all family and friends to pay their respects on Saturday April 25th from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 40 MacArthur Blvd, Bourne MA 02532. After the wake beginning at 4:00 p.m. will be a celebration of life held at Terrance & Cynthia’s home where family and friends will gather to share stories, laughter, and tears, remembering a life lived with purpose and love.
Terrance Bustard’s journey on this earth has ended, but his spirit and the love he shared with all who knew him will live on forever. May he rest in peace.
