

On Thursday December 26, 2024, Beverlee Anderson Lee, a resident of Glenn Dale, Maryland, born in Chicago, IL passed away. Beloved wife of the late Richard Lee, Mother of Andrew R. Lee (Kim), Matthew J. Lee, Bryan M. Anderson, Nathanial A. Lee (Lori), Amiee K. Harmelink (Chris). Devoted sister of Bonnie Szromba (Dave). Cherished grandmother of Kathryn, Leigha, Griffin, Juliana, Samson, Alexander, Gabriel, Mason (Jennifer), and Jabob.
Beverlee was a faithful servant of God, an amazing wife, mother, sister, and a proud grandmother , who filled with joy when surrounded by her grandchildren, of talking about them. She grew up in Chicago, where she practiced ballet and developed a love of musicals.
During her life she worked hard to earn her accounting degree at Chicago State University, later teaching at Calumet High School. Later she moved to Maryland and started working as a part-time teacher before staying home to raise her children. Returning to the workforce through hard work and perseverance, she progressed from accounting clerk to CFO at ALEC until retiring in 2007.
She was an active member of her community and weather at Green Acres Pool, the local Bridge club, neighborhood Independance Day Picnics, of at the Annapolis Yacht Club after a sail, she made friends wherever she went.
She loved shopping, politics, and classical music. With her husband she remained engaged in Ascension Catholic Church, service on the parish finance council, singing in the choir, or teaching 1st grade CC'D, most importantly she was the caring and loving human being we were pleased to know and love.
A visitation for Beverlee will be held Thursday, January 2, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Robert E. Evans Funeral Home, 16000 Annapolis Road, Bowie, MD 20715.
A Visitation Prior to Mass will be held on Friday, January 3, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Ascension Catholic Church, where the Mass will begin at 10:30 AM - 12700 Lanham Severn Rd, Bowie, MD 20720
A Beverlee will be interred next to her husband in Lakemont Memorial Gardens, 900 W Central Ave, Davidsonville, MD 21035 following the Mass.
Donations my be made in her memory to the Jude Children's Research Hospital
