Tommy was a rock in the Fire and Rescue Family. He made a difference and we are all better because of him. Firefighter, Mentor, Dispatcher, Administrator, Friend, Visionary. Salt.

Tom came to work at DCFD Communication when everyone at 300 McMillan Drive NW had to learn the DC City streets, fire house locations, and important buildings, and keep them in your mind. That was before computer aided dispatch. Amazingly we could send an ambulance or strike a box alarm in under a minute, and get it right. RIP Tom
