Raised in Southern, Maryland, died Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at his daughter’s home in Chestertown, MD. Husband to the late Anne Garner. Buck is survived by his seven children, James Christopher Garner of Bowie, MD; Tracy Garner Gold of Pasadena, MD; Susan Garner Peterson of Chestertown, MD; William Mark Garner of Towson, MD; Charles Michael Garner of Bowie, MD; Timothy Patrick Garner of Silver Spring, MD; Elizabeth Anne Garner of Sunderland, MA; 19 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, and two sisters; Ann Svelan and Patricia Ernest. His brothers, John William and Michael James Garner predeceased him. Buck was a devout Catholic, independent business owner and active with the Knights of Columbus for over 50 years. Buck served in the United States Marine Corps and will be buried at Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville, Maryland on Friday, July 24, 2015 at 1:00 PM. Relatives and friends may call from 3 to 5 pm and 7 to 9 pm on Thursday, July 23,2015 at Robert Evans Funeral Home, Bowie, MD. Funeral mass will be held at St. Edward’s the Confessor in Bowie, MD at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Buck’s
