Daniel J. Healy, 70 of Glenn Dale passed away Thursday, June 27, 2013 at Veterans Hospital in Washington, D.C. Born October 1, 1942 in Salem, New Jersey he was son of the late John and Mary C. Thompson Healy.
He proudly served in the Navy and worked as a Logistician for the government.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Linda L. Healy, Loving Children Michael Brockel (Aunica),Daniel Healy and Joanne Petty(Robert), grandfather of Carlos, William, Lyla, Isabella and Alexandra, and a sister, Mary Ann Paterson of California.
He was predeceased by sister Kathleen Gillespie.
The family will receive friends and family on Monday 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at the Robert E. Evans Funeral Home, 16000 Annapolis Rd., Bowie, MD 20715. Where the Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, 11:30 AM at the funeral home. Interment with military honors will follow in Maryland Veterans Cemetery Crownsville, MD.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Daniel's name to American Legion Disney-Bell Post 66, 9605 Laurel Bowie Rd., Bowie, MD.
