My Father was a wonderful Dad, husband and Grandfather and worked super hard to provide a good life for his family and he is and will always be greatly loved and missed.

Thoughts and prayers are with Doug's family. My earliest memories are playing pool at the Argy home during our Parkdale High School years.

I will remember Doug as a popular teenager who was so outgoing and friendly. The last time we spoke was at last year's Parkdale Class Reunion gathering. I know that he is with God. All my best to his family.

I was a longtime customer of Dougs Sew and Vac.   Doug's shop was THE place to get your classic electrolux vacuum serviced.   He also repaired my sewing machine and sold me a beautiful cabinet for it.   He will be missed by the Crofton community.  My sincere condolences to his family.

I have fond memories of Doug from when I was young living in Martin's Woods, softball, kickball, Roman's, riding bikes & being avid fans of the Detroit Tigers.  Then later on in life I saw him again a couple of times.  I remember I was happy that I got to know him all over again. He was such a nice person.
It is so good that he believed in Jesus!  Now he's really home.

My sincere sympathy to Dougs's family. I am grateful for the conversations I had with Doug over the years at the shop when I would drop in with mounds fabric scraps for the quilting lady from church. It is comforting to know that he was a believer. His family is in my prayers.

Dear Marylin, Shannon and Doug, Jr.,

We just heard the news of Doug's passing last night from Larry, and just wanted to let you know how sorry we were to hear it and that we are praying for you all.  When we were up from Florida and stopped by at Monday night bowling, Doug was one of the faces I knew would be happy to see us (yes I knew he'd even be glad to see Kevin - ha!) and would welcome us and make us feel comfortable with his warm open ways. Instead, we were sad to hear you weren't bowling and that he was so sick. From my conversations with him over the years I knew that all of you were the most important thing in life to him.  We should all be so lucky to have the memories of all the family vacations and togetherness bowling that you all had. It was good to see his smiling face in the pics and heartbreaking to see the ones with him so ill, but glad you included  - he will be missed but not forgotten for sure.

Our deepest condolences go out to Doug's family. He will be truly missed. If it weren't for Doug, Paul & I would never have met. We are so thankful to have had Doug in our lives. Paul has know Doug since childhood. They worked together for many years. I met Doug 15 years ago when I bowled with him in Odenton. He was always happy-go-lucky. What a proud grandfather he was. There is no doubt that he loved his grandkids. Doug will always have a place in our hearts. Rest in peace.
