Edward D. Turner of Bowie, MD passed away peacefully at his home and began his eternal life with the Lord on Saturday, April 11, 2026. He is survived by his brother, James P. Turner, Jr., his son, Edward (Troop) Turner and five stepchildren, Mark, Tim, Lauren, David and Dan. He is also survived by nieces, Debra and Teresa and nephews, James and Steven, as well as 16 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
His wife, Betty Ann proceeded him in death as did his stepdaughter, Kim.
Visitation will be held at Robert E. Evans Funeral Home, 16000 Annapolis Rd, Bowie, Maryland 20715, on April 27, 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, followed by a Funeral Service at the same location on April 27, 2026, beginning at 12:00 pm.
Burial will take place at Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville, MD.
