On September 13, 1946 a daughter was born to Hugh and Gaynell Maurer in Chenoa, Illinois. One of 5 children, Eloise Carpenter enjoyed growing up in a large family. At an early age she learned the meaning of responsibility.
Graduating from Streator Township High School, she entered North Central College then The University of Maryland, earning degrees in psychology and accounting. She was currently employeed by United Healthcare as a CPA.
On September 15, 2010, at her home, Mrs. Eloise Carpenter passed away.
She is survived by her son Patrick, his father Lee, and grandson, Caleb. Four sisters, Helen Johnstone, Elaine Stewart,
Iris Maurer and Joanne Peery.
Family and friends are invited to call at the Robert E. Evans Funeral Home (Rt 450 and Race Track Rd , Bowie, Md) on Thursday September 23, 2010 from 7:00-9:00pm and Friday September 24, 2010 at Grace Baptist Church 7210 Race Track Rd. from 11:00am until time of service.
