

Early in Gary's life he was diagnosed with asthma. Due to complications, he spent almost three years at Chapel Forge Special School for speech therapy before attending Yorktown Elementary.
Gary attended Benjamin Tasker Middle and Bowie High Schools and graduated with the 2003 class. He then attended Anne Arundel Community College and graduated in 2005 with an Associate of Science Business Administration Transfer Degree.
After a period of time, Gary entered Salisbury University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2010. He then moved back to Bowie.
In 1995 Gary was entered into a local Tae Quan Do Karate program where he progressed and obtained the black belt level. For a number of years, Gary worked as an instructor at the local Bowie Karate school, at a Salisbury school, and recently as a contract instructor in the local area. Gary always enjoyed working with children and parents and students thought very highly of him.
Gary was a self-taught guitar player and enjoyed playing other instruments such as drums and keyboards. He was trying to learn to play the banjo.
Gary loved to fish on the bay with Dad and would dip a line in any local stream. His fishing gear was always at hand
