On Tuesday, September 17, 2013 Harry J. Christian of Bowie, MD after a long fought battle with Parkinson's Disease passed away. He is survived by three children Kenneth of Albuquerque, NM, Maxine Christian Jaqhari of Arlington, VA and Larry Christian of Mitchellville, MD as well as a grandson Robert Christian of Louisville, KY. Harry was born in 1921, joined the U. S. N. in 1939 and served in the South Pacific throughout WWII as a Gunners Mate aboard 3 ships, one of which was at Pearl Harbor when it was attacked in 1941. Preceded in death by wife Marjorie in 2007, Harry and Marge enjoyed 62 years of marriage before Marge's passing. Harry and Marge are once again back on the dance floor. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Parkinsons Foundation. Graveside service and inurnment with military honors will be 11 am, Monday, September 30, 2013 and all are welcome to attend.
