She was also an advocate for the devotion of the Blessed Mary.
She is survived by children Ann (Roger) Pitcock, Catherine Windsor, Cynthia (Bill) Hansen, John (Mary Liz), Raymond, Tina and Gregory (Karen) Mullikin. Grandmother to John “JP” (Tori), Michael and Patrick Pitcock, Lesley (Tim) Faff, Rachel (Darren) LaRocque, Erika (Ken) Cheney, Erica Mullikin, Erin, Caleb, Jacob (Maggie) and Joshua (David) LaMora, Rebecca (Jacob) Evans, Nicholas (Ashley) Mullikin and Callie (Philip) Dempsey. Great-grandmother to Olivia, Riley and Emma Faff, Harper, Bella and Kellen Pitcock, Mason and Madison Mullikin, Claire and Philip Dempsey, Maddie and Grace Cheney, Tobias, and Lyra Rogers and Amelia LaMora. She was also a loving aunt to many, many nieces and nephews.
She was also proceeded in death by her beloved husband the late John “Ned” Mullikin, as well as her siblings, Marie, Dear Sister Elza “Oz”, Marty, Rudy and Billy,

A visitation at Ascension Catholic Church for Ida will be held Wednesday, March 12, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at12700 Lanham Severn Rd, Bowie, MD 20720, followed by a Mass of Christian burial from 11:00 AM
