

Kathryn Lee Marble passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family and beloved staff at Abundance Care Residential Assisted living on September 29, 2021 in Bowie, Maryland, after a prolonged illness.
Kathryn (Kass to those who knew her and loved her) was born in Baltimore, Maryland on May 12,1936. Kass graduated from Southern High School and had a career at the Chesapeake and Potomac Telephone Company of Maryland before marrying the love of her life Thomas Marble Jr.
Kass went onto a career in the corporate travel industry working as a customer service supervisor while raising a family in Bowie, Maryland. She later attended Prince Georges County Community College. Kass loved the Chesapeake Bay and she completed both her Basic and Advanced Sailing Certifications. Kass loved caring for the people in her life and always put the needs of other before her own. She was known for her contagious smile, spicy sense of humor, and her warm inviting hugs. She enjoyed traveling with her recently departed best friend Karen Sanda, cherished her cats, and was an avid reader.
Kass was proceeded in death by her beloved husband Thomas Marble, Jr., her mother Elizabeth Krug, her father Frank Krug, her brothers Preston and George Krug, and her beloved best friend Karen Sanda. She leaves behind a life time of love and memories in her daughter Kimberly Marble Mead, her son Jeffrey Lee Marble, her son in-law Todd Mead, her daughter in-law Cathy Marble, friend Carol Mead-Cartmell, brother Thomas Krug, her granddaughter Kaitlyn Eichelberger, her grandson Randy Eichelberger, Kathryn Marmo, Kirsten Sanda, and her great grand-daughters Annabelle, Paisley, and Bailey.
