Ligia Anzola

Ligia was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Jose Celestino Anzola of Caparrapi, Cundinamarca, Colombia, and her brothers Rafael Bustos and Jairo Bustos, and daughter-in-law Josette Pico Anzola.

She is survived by her sons, Edward Anzola, Fernando Anzola, daughter Mariela Anzola Leary and son-in-law Robert Leary, granddaughter Stephanie Morris and husband Matthew, grandson Daniel Anzola, and great-grandchildren, Talia Morris and Oliver Morris. She is also survived by sisters-in-law Aleja Bustos and Grecia Bustos, nephew Jairo E. Bustos and wife Ilene Bustos, niece Christina Powaday and husband Tyrone Powaday, grand-nephews Tareque, Devin, and Dexter Powaday, and niece Tanya Bustos.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, she especially enjoyed making Tamales. She was a kind and caring person who loved people and put others before herself. She liked gardening, arts and crafts and most of all spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also loved travelling with her family.

She leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.

A viewing will be held at Robert E. Evans Funeral Home, Bowie, Maryland, 20715 on Monday, April 7, 2025 from 11 am to 1 pm, followed immediately by a funeral service at the funeral home.
