Martha C. Willis, 80, went to be with the Lord on December 20, 2017. Martha was a former 40 year resident of Hyattsville and recently of Austell GA. Martha passed from complications from a blood clot.
Martha was born in and graduated from high school in Washington, DC. Martha worked until her retirement from Atlanta Constitution Newspaper.
Martha was a member of the First Baptist church of Hyattsville, the First Baptist Church of New Carrollton, and the First Baptist Church of Atlanta.
She is survived by her beloved children, Lynn Selzer of Bowie, MD, Alan L. Ganey of Glenn Dale, MD, Donna Ganey of Shallotte, NC, Jim S. Ganey of Hollidaysburg, PA, and John D. Ganey of Westminster, MD, as well as 14 grandchildren and 10 great Grandchildren.
The family invites friends to a visitation at the Robert E. Evans Funeral Home, 16000 Annapolis Rd Bowie, MD, on December 29, 2017 from 2-4 PM, with a graveside service on Saturday, December 30th in the Glenwood Cemetery 2219 Lincoln Rd. Washington, DC at 1:00 PM
