

Born at Bethesda Naval Hospital in Bethesda, Maryland to Deborah Ellen Seel and Stephen Thomas Hall, who was killed in action in Vietnam the same year.
Beloved daughter of Ronald V Lawhorne and Deborah E Lawhorne of Cheverly, MD. Beloved mother of her only child, Daniel Ray Williams III of Alexandria, VA. Sister of Ronald V Lawhorne II and his wife Amanda Lawhorne of Crofton, MD and Richard E Lawhorne and wife Jennifer Lawhorne of Lisbon, MD and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Mary graduated from Elizabeth Seton High School in 1987 and received her BA in History from UMBC in 1991. Mary also went on to get 2 Master degrees, in Education and Special Education from Bowie State University. Mary was a special education teacher at Catherine T Reed for many years before enrolling at Galudet University to earn a professional degree in Psychology.
Mary was a history lover and an avid antique shopper, but her favorite job was caring for and raising her son, Daniel. Her life revolved around him. After he was born, she left the working world behind to stay at home with him.
When her parents bought a second home in Williamsburg, VA, Mary became a constant visitor of Colonial Williamsburg. You would often find her spending her time there teaching Daniel all its history and shopping thrift stores for antiques.

A visitation for Mary will be held Wednesday, January 10, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Robert E. Evans Funeral Home, 16000 Annapolis Road, Bowie, MD 20715.
A mass of Christian burial will occur Thursday, January 11, 2024 at 10:30 AM at St Pius Catholic Church, 14720 Annapolis Road, Bowie, MD 20715.
Her graveside service will occur Thursday, January 11, 2024 at 12:30 PM at Maryland National Memorial, 13300 Baltimore Ave, Laurel, MD 20707.
