Nadine Ayers Taub, 47 year resident of Bowie, MD, passed away on Friday, November 25, 2011 from complications of Alzheimer’s Disease. She was married to William Paul Taub for 63 years. He passed away on February 20, 2010. She is survived by her devoted daughter Myra Houck Keeler, loving niece Dianne Small, and cherished friend Aleta Johnson, sisters - Bille Jean Tomberlin, June Anglin, Peggy Ann Buckner, brothers - Boyd and Robert Ayers and many nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and friends. She was pre-deceased by sister DeLois Ledford, brother J.C. Ayers, nephew Thomas Ayers and son-in-law Dale R. Houck. Nadine was born in Burnsville, NC on February 27, 1926 to Willard and Annis Ayers. She graduated from Blanton Business School of Asheville, NC and moved to Hampton, VA where she met her future husband. After Bill’s transfer to Washington, DC NASA Headquarters, she was employed at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center for over 25 years. A celebration of her life will be held at the home this Spring.
