On December 24, 2015. Son of Manuel Jacinto and Anna Azevedo Borges, Beloved husband of 60 years to the late Roselind Borges, father of Roberta Borges, Rosemary Borges and Richard Borges, Jr. He was predeceased by infant daughter Kathleen Borges, brother Leonard A. Borges and sister-in-law Lillian Hurley. He is also survived by his dog and best friend Cindy.
Family will receive friends 4 to 8pm, Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at Robert E. Evans Funeral Home, 16000 Annapolis Rd. Bowie, MD 20715. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30am, Thursday, December 31, 2015 at Ascension Catholic Church, 12700 Lanham Severn Rd, Bowie, MD 20720. Interment will follow in Resurreciton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions may be made to the Alzheimers association at alz.org or the ASPCA, P.O. box 96929 , Washington, D.C.,20090.
