On Saturday, June 25, 2011 of Gambrills, MD. Husband of Joy A. Porter; father of Arta "Joanne" Smallwood (Tom), Anita "Jeanne" Porter, Bradley A. Porter (Danielle) and Jeffrey A. Porter (Jean); brother of the late Patty Armstrong and Martha Eastman. Al is also survived by eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends at the Robert E. Evans Funeral Home, 16000 Annapolis Rd., Bowie, MD on Friday, July 1, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. where a funeral service will be held 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 2, 2011. Interment private.
